Whether you choose to pierce your ears for the first time or add new piercings to your collection, our team is here to support you throughout this exciting process. To support your choice, we want to reassure you as best as we can. That’s why we explain the process of ear piercing in detail.

• The first step is to prepare your earlobe. At Art’emi, we only pierce the lobe because the cartilage is more prone to infections. We therefore disinfect your earlobe to make it sterile and prepare it to receive the jewelry.
• The second step is to determine where you want your piercing. Before piercing permanently, we mark a spot with a marker at the desired location. If this suits you, we can move on to the next step.
• The third and final step is ear piercing. We offer stainless steel or gold piercing earrings. This precious metal is hypoallergenic. It suits all skin types, for women or men, and allows optimal healing. In just a few seconds, you add a touch of fantasy to your ears.

Getting your ears pierced is an exciting decision. However, after piercing, it is necessary to disinfect properly to promote quick healing.

• Our jeweler Art’emi first advises you to wash your hands before handling your jewelry.
• Next, you should clean the earlobe twice a day with an antiseptic solution without removing your earring. It is also recommended to gently rotate the earrings once or twice a day to prevent them from sticking to the skin.

Also, avoid products like shampoos, lotions, and perfumes that can irritate the pierced area. It is therefore not recommended to swim in the weeks following ear piercing. If you do swim, remember to disinfect to reduce the risk of infection.

If you notice excessive redness, swelling, pain, or discharge, remove the earrings immediately, continue cleaning your lobe, and consult a healthcare professional promptly.
