Getting your ears pierced is an exciting decision. However, after getting pierced, it is necessary to disinfect well to promote quick healing.

- Next, you should clean the earlobe twice a day with an antiseptic solution without removing your earring. It is also recommended to gently turn the earrings once or twice a day to prevent them from sticking to the skin.
Furthermore, avoid products like shampoos, lotions, and perfumes that can irritate the pierced area. It is then not recommended to swim in the weeks following ear piercing. If you swim, don’t forget to disinfect to limit the risk of infection.
