For example, the chain of this women's drop stone necklace is made of vermeil. This is 925 silver coated with a gold plating of at least 3 microns thick. For the curious, the process is called electrolysis. The gold used for the plating is 18 carat gold, consisting of at least 75% pure gold. Moreover, vermeil does not cause allergies since it is silver covered with gold, two hypoallergenic metals! Finally, another advantage of vermeil is its extraordinary durability.

The small semi-precious stones covering the loops are cat's eye tourmalines, from the Sinhalese word "turmali," meaning "mixed." Tourmaline comes in more colors and combinations than any other variety of precious stone. It is a wonderful and fascinating stone! It protects against harmful energies.

Finally, enamel is also found in this original creation. It adds a solid and unalterable color to the jewelry in shapes or areas that certain precious stones could not fill. This also helps avoid overloading the jewelry's design.
