The Brussels jewelry brand Art'emi highlights its quality jewelry made from exceptional materials. Here, the double chain of the necklace as well as its bead are made from solid silver (commonly called sterling silver or 925 silver). It consists of 92.5% silver, complemented by 7.5% copper. This silver and copper blend provides the material with the necessary strength to craft this piece of jewelry. All our silver creations bear a "925" hallmark as a sign of quality.

The gray donut and pink butterfly charms are made of mother-of-pearl. Mother-of-pearl is a biocomposite synthesized by mollusks throughout their lives by lining the inside of their shells. The thin layers of aragonite cause the iridescent effect, whose shine is pearly. Moreover, the word "nacre" comes from the Arabic "naqqarah." In English, it is called by the name given by the first Queen Elizabeth: mother-of-pearl.
