The setting of these beautiful drop stone earrings for women is made of vermeil. This is 925 silver coated with a gold plating of at least 3 microns thick. For the curious, the process is called electrolysis. The gold used for the plating is 18-carat gold, made up of 75% pure gold. Moreover, vermeil does not cause allergies since it is silver covered with gold, two hypoallergenic metals! If that’s not a sign! Finally, another advantage of vermeil is that it is extremely durable.

The small semi-precious stones covering the earrings are tourmalines, from the Sinhalese word "turmali," meaning "mixed." Tourmaline comes in more colors and color combinations than any other variety of precious stone. It is a wonderful and fascinating stone! It protects against harmful energies.

Finally, enamel is also found in this original creation. It adds a solid and unalterable color to the jewelry in shapes or areas that certain precious stones could not fill. It also helps avoid overloading the design of the jewelry. It’s our little personal savior.
