Made from exceptional materials, art'emi creations are of rare quality.

For example, the chain of this women's drop stone necklace is made of vermeil. This is 925 sterling silver plated with a minimum of 3 microns of gold. For those curious, the process is called electrolysis. The gold used for the plating is 18-karat gold, consisting of at least 75% pure gold. Furthermore, vermeil is hypoallergenic since it is silver coated with gold, two hypoallergenic metals! Finally, another advantage of vermeil is its exceptional durability.

The small semi-precious stones adorning the earrings are cat's-eye tourmalines, from the Sinhalese word "turmali," meaning "mixed." Tourmaline comes in more colors and combinations than any other gemstone variety. It is a wonderful and fascinating stone! It protects against negative energies.

Finally, enamel is also featured in this original creation. It adds a solid, permanent color to the piece of jewelry in shapes or areas that certain precious stones could not fill. It also prevents the design from becoming too cluttered.
